CASA DELO
An elegant residence in the heart of Syracuse, on the island of Ortigia
Bright and welcoming, it is located in a historic building between the Fonte Aretusa and the Maniace Castle.
Its name refers to the Greek origins of the city, which Pindar called “worthy sister of Delos,” the Cycladic island originally called Ortigia, because — like the Ortigia of Sicily — it was abundant in quails, Orteghes in ancient Greek. It later became Delos, “the one who appears bright,” after Leto granted it prosperity for having given birth to Apollo and Artemis there.
The interior spaces
Casa Delo welcomes its guests with an entrance reminiscent of a movie set, where two vintage cinema chairs anticipate the eclectic character of the house. A short staircase leads to the main space, which opens up to the light of the spacious living room, a dining area with a fully equipped kitchen and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms.
The rooms, carefully detailed, combine contemporary design and reclaimed furnishings, with unique pieces selected to tell the Sicilian identity through natural materials, warm colors, and authentic textures.
The high energy efficiency systems and the use of low environmental impact technologies reflect the sustainable philosophy of Tre di Oro, which has always combined aesthetics and respect for the land.
Upon arrival, guests will find a selection of Tre di Oro farm products as a welcome gift: an invitation to discover the authentic flavors of our Modica countryside.

In Syracuse you will find La Lisca – Cucina e Bottega, a partner restaurant of Tre di Oro, where you can taste Tre di Oro pasta, made with ancient grains grown in our lands of Modica.
